Allergy Season is here!
4 different types of pollen for 3 different seasons. A perfectly good reason why winter is my favorite. Unfortunately, Spring and Summer cannot be avoided, what can be avoided is food that triggers the reaction to those allergies. Birch Tree Pollen Spring Pollen Foods to avoid apples celery hazelnuts raw tomatoes peaches pears Ragweed Pollen Fall August – November Foods to avoid bananas watermelon honeydew melon cantaloupe Grass Pollen Summer Time Foods to avoid oranges peanuts melons watermelon honeydew cantaloupe tomatoes white potatoes Mugwort Pollen Late Summer Early Fall Foods to avoid garlic celery onion caraway seeds parsley coriander anise seeds fennel seeds If you haven’t cut these things out of your diet until that particular season is over. Here are some foods to help with your symptoms. Fish – Omega – 3 Fatty Acids is considered an anti-inflammatory reaction. Hot Drinks or Soup – Warm Fluid – These fluids can warm up your stomach and your airways. That helps thin mucus in your lungs, making it easier to cough up any allergy trigger. Yogurt – Probiotics – Probiotics in your intestines might help allergy symptoms such as a runny nose and congestion. Yogurt is a good natural source of probiotics.
