Summer Bucket List In NYC
Being a New Yorker, the best thing I can do is take advantage of the city and share fresh ideas. I decided to make a bucket list because I want an adventurous summer to remember. To be honest, summer isn’t my favorite season but its a season to have fun and be spontaneous. Also, go on adventures and meet new people. adventurous summers give one the opportunity to learn more about themselves. Here are the things I will be doing and why. 1. Catch the sunrise in the middle of the street in midtown Manhattan on the east side. Not that many cars should be moving, the shot should be a corridor of buildings and at the end should be the sun coming up. 2. Visit the oldest pizzeria in NYC. New York is known for pizza. Unfortunately, I wasn’t around when it started; so I will like to try the oldest pizzeria. Maybe there is something special in the sauce that keeps them around. 3. Moma scavenger hunt, MOMA stands for Museum of Modern Art. I didn’t know the museum offers a scavenger hunt. Until a friend told me about Fever. Fever is an app that lets you know what’s happening in New York. There are few other scavenger hunts listed on the app, but Moma seems to be the coolest. 4. Empty met tour, “Met” is short for the metropolitan museum of art. The Empty met tour Should be cool especially for those who love art history. I feel like this will be an exclusive look at the museum. going on this tour should provide opportunities to learn secrets about the met. 5. Brooklyn Botanical Garden is Just a spot in New York I am curious about. I have no idea what is in this place; and no idea what this place has to offer, except plants. Therefore I am ready to be amazed. They also may have some activities for all ages. When I think of the botanical garden, I believe there is going to be butterflies flying everywhere. 6. Visit The lower east side galleries. For some reason, my phone has been blowing up with notifications with cool new art shows; which takes place in the lower east side. With that being said, I am Currently Setting aside a day to visit them all. 7. Go to governors island. I have Never been, but it is supposed to be nice. There are so many activities, I look forward to finding the perfect one. 8. James Turrell Meeting: It is a sunset room. Literally, there is a room with a sunroof. I feel this has a science meets art theme. Anyway, a better description would be. As the sun goes down, the room’s light flickers, changing to different colors of the rainbow as the sunset takes place.
